Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
